Kunnu is derived mainly from grains of Millet, Sorghum or Corn.
and it's very common in Northern Parts Of Nigeria.
Doctors say that a regular intake of soluble fibre - along with regular exercise and sensible eating - can help reduce the level of cholesterol (fat) in the blood,thus reducing heart attacks.

RAW MATERIALS
PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING KUNNU
1. Wash the Millet, Sorghum or Corn.
2. Soak 1,000 grams (about 1 Congo or module) of Millet, Sorghum or Corn. for 8 hours. Rinse
3. Add 2 spoonfuls of grind ginger
4. Grind very well,
5. Pour 12 litres (3 gallons) of boiling water
6. Leave the solution for one day (24 hours). Sieve.
7. Add 4 litres (1 gallon) of water
8. Add sugar (to taste) and 0.5 litres of honey
